I randomly post whatever catches my eye - mainly interiors, pretty pictures, food, fashion, make-up, inspirational quotes, and occasionally some fandom . :)
Anonymous asked: What is your favourite movie? :)

Answer:

Well, this isn’t gonna be short. :))

I’m married to a scriptwriter and I’m on-and-off working in the film industry as well, so you can imagine what it’s like when we’re watching movies. We’re picky. Very picky. Basically whatever we think is less than 90% we dissect into a million pieces. You don’t want to accompany us to the movies if you value your life. We know a movie is good when we’re so drawn into the story and we forgot to analyse it. When it makes us feel, when we act like a regular audience member, not an insider. It’s not an easy task, but when it happens, it’s the best feeling in the world.
Some of the stuff I like… Almost all of Miyazaki’s films, especially Nausicaä, Totoro and Howl. Fight Club. Star Wars, strictly the first trilogy but mainly the first one. I love a good, heartwarming family film, my go-to feel good movie is While You Were Sleeping. Harry and Sally is awesome. I adore Finding Nemo. And The Prestige. Basically anything from Nolan that doesn’t include bats. But I don’t mind them either. :)) So yeah, Inception. 1984 because of John Hurt. Alien, because I have a strange affection towards the xenomorph, I just want to cuddle it. And, of course, John Hurt. Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Satoshi Kon’s Paprika (!!!). The Iron Giant (seriously underrated!!). Contact with Jodie Foster. Wanted. The Breakfast Club (I loooove the Breakfast Club). Easy A (naturally). The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (made our hearts melt). Hair. Jesus Christ Superstar. Love Actually. North by Northwest (!!!) & Rear Window. The Secret Garden. Source Code.

Yeah, I know, it’s quite eclectic. :))
There are lots of tv shows we like as well. Gilmore Girls & Bunheads, Parks & Recreation, some of Doctor Who, Lost, Community, The Good Wife (we adore it), 30 Rock, and in the last ~8 months we’ve been on a Sherlock kick. Constant quoting, rewatching, obsessing. It’s borderline untolerable. Our friends are either fans now (converted, hehe), or they don’t speak to us anymore.

I think I mentioned all the important ones. :)
